All Summer Long

After waking up on Saturday morning in a sweat we knew it was critical to get out of our stuffy apartment and go to the sea. Our number one goal was to get cooled off in the 90 degree weather (!) and forgot about the heat. There's just no reason for the Bay Area to be so hot...in June. We drove over bridges, through tunnels, and down windy roads to Black Sand Beach. The sand was coarse, but the water was cool. As per my usual Northern California ocean trips, I barely let the water brush my thighs before it was time to open a book and lay out. Ahhh, summer....can you feel it?
