Britt and Paul: If you only new how much I loved you...both. Thank you for letting me be the front wheel of the tricycle; for letting me eat the whole burrito and not judging too much; for humoring me and watching two whole episodes of 30 Rock in the magic bed; for tracking my cycle on the iphone and thinking it's semi-normal that we talk about that kind of stuff; and most of all for holding my hand in the cab. I send you my love from across the Bay.

Tyler: I promise never to lounge on your couch in the dark ever again, but you must admit that it was a pretty spectacular birthday gift. I think the Apples to Apples topped it off though. Thank you for the futon and the early morning wake up call from bird 1 and bird 2 (names escape me at the moment) -
Casper/Roseville sleepovers are the best!

The Rock

The students and I went to Alcatraz and the trip was surprisingly interesting and fun. At 12 I was bored and wanted to eat Ghirardelli chocolate, but this time I really got into the tour and was fascinated by the history and construction of the prison. The best part was sharing it with foreign people who also thought it was equally entertaining.
